Sixteen Penny Construction has been building beautiful renovations and custom homes in the Charlotte area since 2004. This company has an outstanding reputation for excellence in communication, craftsmanship and exceptional customer service.

Founder and Owner, Wes Piatt, has developed a trustworthy team with expertise in all service areas: remodels, custom homes, kitchen and bath renovations, and historic renovations. The key cornerstones to such a positive experience for clients is communication, attention to detail in all aspects of building, lifelong relationships with homeowners, and character.

Wes Piatt is passionate about building distinct homes and building relationships. Sixteen Penny Construction has been privileged to work with such wonderful homeowners and architects in creating beautiful homes over the years.

Sixteen Penny Construction has been recognized in the community for outstanding home building. The company received 2011 Gold Award Whole House ($160-280K), 2008 Silver Award Whole House ($351-$500K), 2008 Silver Award Kitchen (under $75K) from the Remodelers Council in Charlotte. Owner, Wes Piatt, was elected Vice President of the Executive Association of Charlotte (EAC) in 2015.
